This project involved preparing a safe, level area for a backyard swingset by addressing a sloped section of the yard filled with shale. We excavated into the hillside and relocated the material to the front of the property, where it was used as backfill to help level the area around the newly built home. Once the site was properly graded and stabilized, the backyard space was left ready for the homeowner to install and securely anchor the swingset, creating a safe, kid-approved play area.
